At last, she's asleep and I have some free time to post pictures of the new puppy, Golly. Enjoy! She's been a handful lately, since I've been a single mom this week. Yes, Joe's work took him out of town and he won't be back until Monday. So I worked my usual 3 12hour night shifts on Mon, Tues, and Weds. I think I got a total of 12 hours of sleep in those three days. Fortunately with such a schedule I get nice looong stretches of days off. So now I'm fully recovered and enjoying puppy-motherhood again.
It's been interesting watching my Belgian, Domino deal with her. He was in a snit for a day or so when we brought Golly home. He wasn't the only dog or the baby anymore. Now though he's realizing she can be kind of fun to play with and has really warmed up to her. The best part, he won't let her chase my 3 cats. If she starts to go for one of the kitties he jumps between them, driving kitty one way and Golly the other. Thank goodness for herding instinct!

They're the only breed I've had also. Domino's full name is Bayview's Blackjack Domino. I showed him for a while, but never finished him. Now's he's a much loved, pampered pet and herder of cats.
